My current wasshing machine is a Whirlpool Duet and it’s starting to throw codes constantly. Looking to get a top load. What’s a really good one? We have 3 boys so the machine constantly runs. I had heard speed queen in one of the best. What’s yall advice.

Speed Queen, knobs and agitator. House full of boys and it’s been a workhorse.

Recently bought a Speed Queen after years of front loaders. Could not be happier. Forgot what it was like to have clothes that were actually for rinsed thoroughly. Bought the TC5 model.

If you want to spend double your money on clean clothes, speed queen. If you want to have clean clothes and a spare $800 in spending cash, Maytag Petpro 4.7 cuft gets the job done.

That’s what we did .. working great. My queen size quilt didn’t work at all in my neighbors speed queen .. although I’ve read people putting king size in a SQ.

My last Maytag washer lasted 14 years .. I got my $500 worth.

My wife brought our king size quilt into the store and put it in the display machine to be sure it fit... the sales associate was speechless, but we got the one we needed.
