Can anyone recommend a retail nursery in Forest Hill that still has good prices? It about a 2.5 hour drive for me, so I want to make sure it’s worth the drive.

Doug young.
Pro tip, rent a U-Haul trailer for $30 and bring some folding tables and pack that thing double decker to the gills.

Well worth it.

good people.

Many of the nurserys don't sell to general public, though I think they also have a festival coming up where they make exceptions for that weekend. I could be way off.

Can't go wrong with DY though

This is correct. I would suggest waiting until that festival and attending that if I were the OP. That is basically the kickoff of the planting season and all nurseries will be fully staffed and ready to sell.

I've bought from Holloway and Richards. A 3 gal Carolina Sapphire from LA Nursery is $30. $8.50 from Richards.

DY and Holloway. You find the plants in your own and they are big places, but they give you maps.

Doug Young is your place. And, you can look up all the prices before you go.

Went to Holloway nursery last year and purchased all of my landscaping. I used the prices that were advertised on the website and when we got there, the prices had changed but not on website and they honored them. Great to deal with!
