I've received a quote for a 2600 sq. ft house in Bossier City.

Initial treatment (trenching around house and holes drilled on patio) - $1,900

5 yr. monitoring fee - $300/yr for 5 years.

So all in $3400.

This seems a little steep. After a Termidor application is the yearly monitoring with traps around the house necessary?

That is too high. Call Redd's Pest Control. Just had it done - bigger house, $500 to trench, $100/yr.

Thanks.

Seemed like my quote was pretty high. First time for me to stay in a house long enough to have to have a second treatment done after moving in so haven’t had to price it out before.

~$300/year seems to be very close to the average annual cost for Sentricon.

Buy the masonry drill bit and a hammer drill, Taurus SC, and do it yourself for a total of about $400-$500. It will last roughly 10 years.

Ouch that is high. I use Salvant. I don't remember how much the initial treatment was. That was about 20 years ago but we pay $120 per year. Was treated with Termidor. And no you don't need the traps around your house. 2500 sq.ft. house.

Different location, with a local company. $1000 for initial treatment and 400/yr for bond, is what I pay for mine. I'm pretty sure I could find something cheaper if I really needed too. I would think of the yearly fee more like an insurance costs as opposed to them actually doing anything worthwhile.

I think some costs depend on the type of treatment delivered. Ours is a bait and trench system as opposed to any drilling into our brick etc.

You price it by linear feet for post construction. I’d say it can go anywhere from $3-6 a linear foot depending on type of treatment. Hope that helps
