Exactly... the money spent to keep Ryan Williams will leave them short elsewhere. Plus, we are now crowded at WR. Not saying I would turn him down, but he is worth more to Bama than LSU

I wouldn't pay Ryan Williams a boatload of cash to come to LSU right now. I don't even think that is a hot take. With what this LSU team has at receiver, you're much better served dividing up the likely 7 figures you'd need to get Ryan and giving it to two impact safeties.
On this LSU team, which would you rather? Two starting safeties, one of which could likely be elite or 1 Ryan Williams? That's not even a hard choice for me with Anderson x2 & Brown in the boat.

Is tampering even a technically accurate term with NIL and unlimited free agency windows?
The players are essentially valuable employees with the right to choose the best financial option. I'm not saying that's good or bad but tampering is an irrelevant term just like it would be if a recruiter called one of your lawyers in a law firm
