“According to reports, the Wolverines came close to landing Underwood before he ultimately decided LSU was the right fit for him. Fast forward to the present, and rumors have been circulating on social media that Michigan has allegedly offered Underwood a whopping $4 million in NIL deals to flip his commitment back to his home state school.
However, Underwood himself has put a damper on those hopes, seemingly “laughing off” the rumor. In a brief response, he dismissed the chatter about Michigan offering him a $4 million NIL deal, signaling that his commitment to LSU remains solid.”

that was Dave Portnoy saying he would pay, but I think Portnoy wants a more established guy.

They can pay a qb whatever they want…last great Michigan QB was drafted Brady….24 years ago…in the 6th round.
They have to find a new coach as well…would be an insane move to go there with nfl dreams.
They’ll probably pull a fsu and get DJ type qb

They always were. The only hiccup would be if Sloan leaves before signing day.

Yeah. Portnoy was referring to the portal. He was talking about immediate contribution to winning.

I think this video says all you need to know about how he feels about the prospect of going to MI instead of LSU.

Love that LSU chain. Can't wait to see him suiting up for the Tigers.

There are two FBS schools that currently have less than 1,000 yards passing and 10+ turnovers: Michigan and first-year FBS school Kennesaw State.
Yea, Underwood wants to jump into that dumpster fire.

He has been pretty adamant that he wants to go somewhere that will give him the best chance to develop for the NFL. Running the ball 40 times a game and throwing the ball almost exclusively to tight ends and running backs is not the formula to showing off to scouts.

its all been debunked i thought. I am not really worried. Hes not taking any visits or "shopping" himself anywhere. I have strong confidence he will be a tiger

This is a little bit disingenuous. McCarthy was selected in the 1st round just last year. Underwood is all LSU though.

Yep, I thought the same, but UM hasn't exactly been a bastion of QB excellence over the long haul.

Wow so LSU doesn’t get credit for its two heisman winners?
I mean those two did leave other schools for a reason. Some of yall…I mean, god damn

Bryce Underwood rumors about flipping
I mean... if you've actually kept up with all of this, it's been incredibly obvious that there never were any rumors of him flipping. There were rumors about a big $4m offer, but exactly 100% of the talk about a flip has been pure, unfounded speculation. Anyone who says that he's actually at risk of flipping is simply making it up out of thin air lol. There was never a single indication from a single even remotely reputable source that there was any movement whatsoever on that front.

There was never even anything to debunk. Nobody aside from anonymous randoms on twitter and message board trolls has ever claimed that he was at even the slightest risk of flipping. The only "rumors" pertained to the $4m offer - everything else was either pure speculation or was completely made up from wholecloth (or both).

Not in the slightest. Underwood doesn't care about this. There's a reason he laughed at that because LSU is likely paying much more than that.

Bryce knows he will be in the Heisman hunt while at LSU. He's going nowhere else.
