It really is crazy how often kids don't pan out. It's tough to avoid the reaction as a fan, cause it's easy to blame the staff / program. Glad we picked up the studs we did in the portal, and got watkins lurking for a big slot role next yr with our wr exodus post 25' season

Remember thinking this watching Sampson against Liberty his senior year. Was not impressed. I think he made a few plays but nothing about him that game wowed me. He didn’t look interested and was throwing tantrums. Was bummed I didn’t get to see Jackson play, he was injured and didn’t suit up in that game.
Last high school I went and saw two talents was Guice against Justin Reid.
Guice was a dog that night!
Reid play a hella of a game as well.

No shite. Saban had a pipeline of WR from South Florida with Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, Jerry Jeudy…The best freshman in the nation last year was a WR from my HS - Jeremiah Smith. Florida always has plenty of skill position players that want to leave the state to play college football.

I understand prioritizing Louisiana kids and I actually agree with it. But to say it's a waste of time to target Florida guys is insane.
