Chose Aggies over LSU and others in 2022.

Has to at least get a call from LSU right?

Drawback is that he only has 1 year left I believe.

My take is take anyone who is good and has played good ball in their careers.

Ideally younger Sophomores or Juniors but Seniors too why not.

I don't care if it's punter, kicker, QB, ILB, RB, KR, PR. Just take good players

asked my A&M buddy about him. Says it hurts for depth, but he has been up and down and in and out of the lineup.

1 year is fine. Means if he starts, you can tell the younger guys behind him that he is only here for 1 year while you learn.

Found these PFF grades for him

Run blocking 66.3
Pass blocking 52.7
Overall 63.4

Allowed 6 pressures and 1 sack

Played 325 snaps.

Sounds like he may be able to help run game but pass blocking does not look great although only 1 sack allowed.

Well, we haven't been able to develop crap in run blocking so maybe a transfer that can run block can be taught how to pass block

Bring him in, tell him he might just be depth.

We just signed two elite top 3 Interior Offensive Lineman... why not get these guys developed/ready to play as soon as possible? Yes, they will have some growing pains but that's part of the game.

Unless you're bringing in an all-conference type of player from the portal, it makes zero sense.

These top 5 position recruits aren't sitting around waiting to play anymore... this time next year we will be watching them enter the portal to get on the field elsewhere.

That may be a good thing for us. When you bring in longer term portal guys, you tend to lose one or more promising young guys who will have to sit behind them. If you think those young guys have real potential and just need a year, a one year rental while they develop isn’t terrible.
