Did Jaloni Cambridge already make an OV to LSU?
She visited unofficially last November. Supposedly (not 100% sure), she was in town with Justice Carlton and Me'Arah Oneal during the Miss St game.

When do the top 10 prospects generally commit? I'm sure they span all months, but generally, is it during spring or summer months or closer to Signing Day? (In football, it's generally closer to Signing Day for the 5-stars.)
Some may pull the trigger early but most generally go on official visits during the fall/late summer before announcing. You still have many prominent recruits commit early like during the spring, well before NSD in the fall. Just depends on the individual recruit.
I believe Kim is going to host another 'big' recruiting weekend again during the fall where they will host many top prospects at once. I could be wrong but I believe Sarah Strong and Koval are visiting together in September with another recruit or two. At least thats what I heard previously.
Not sure what Jaloni Cambridge's timeline is though

Move in day for the new players are this week in the coming days

Will the team be playing their usual exhibition against a Little Sisters of the Poor team before they head for Vegas?
I imagine the score will be 40-0 after ten minutes then Kim empties the bench the rest of the way.

I hope so. Perfect time to develop chemistry and it's less wear & tear, IYAM. F*ck the jealous "easy-schedule" whiners.
Plus, I am hoping LSU breaks the single-season team scoring avg. of 96 ppg set by Providence. If they play a bunch of teams like Bellarine again, who they beat 125-50, the record is definitely in play. The numbers will come down some in SEC play, but hell, LSU beat Iowa 102-85 without HVL, Morrow & Mikaylah and still had three 20+ pt scorers (Carson, Morris & L Williams) in that title matchup. The fire-power will be there to break the record, but they will have to gel early.

When HVL tweeted out her commitment to LSU with a pic of her dressed in a Tiger uniform, her only comment was "Eleven".
What I didn't realize then was that it wasn't simply a number change but rather, she wore #11 throughout high school, so it has a special significance to her. It also symbolically expresses a return to old herself and, on this new journey, finding the happiness she lost, as she recently put it.

Semi recruiting news.
Jaloni cambridge is now going to Monteverde academy in Florida for her senior season. The school also happened to get a new coach since the other one got a job at the collegiate level
Guess who that new HC is? It’s Rosario and Velez former HS coach at the Webb school…
Also ADR will be at LSU the rest of the summer. No longer going to compete with the U19 USA team later this summer.

In the team photo it appears that HVL is palming the ball. I know the ball is smaller, but is this real.?
I’m guessing it’s photo shopped.

The women’s ball is one inch smaller in diameter and 2 oz lighter.

Anyone watching Americacup having audio issues

Freek, or anyone who has seen both, who do you rank higher; Sarah Strong or Justice Carlton? Both talented players with size.

Strong easily
They are obviously still recruiting her but Koval, Strong and Edwards are definitely the superior posts in this class but you can’t go wrong with Carlton either.
UCONN is pushing incredibly hard for strong right now. Her dad I believe played at nc state? She hasn’t released a list of final schools yet but I say that it’s incredibly encouraging she has an official visit scheduled (same with Edwards and Koval)
Actually Koval and Strong may be visiting the same weekend

I’m watching the Americup from a link on USA Basketball Twitter (no audio issues). You do have to make a quick account: name and email. Angel has foul trouble but is still leading the team in points & rebounds, so far in the 3rd qtr.
LINK
Twitter highlight of Angel’s best play
USA beat Venezuela 80-54.
Angel led the team with 11 points. They don’t show her full stats but I think she finished 2nd in rebounds with 10, if I counted right. Picked 4 fouls.
EDIT: 11 pts, 9 reb, 1 blk, 1 ast

IDK the specifics like TB357 may, but hopefully, the staff had convinced ADR to remain in her already-ongoing offseason conditioning program, as she moved to campus to start conditioning a couple of weeks ahead of her classmates.
It's for the best, IYAM. She could provide some valuable size & rebounds this coming season, if in shape. Plus, she's played for the USA (& won gold) before, so it's no longer as pressing of a bucket-list goal, like it is for someone else who's never made a USA roster before (like Angel Reese, who finally made a squad).

Idk the reason tbh but she already won gold with team USA last summer. Mikaylah declined the opportunity to play for team USA and is here at LSU now instead focusing on her freshmen season. But they brought her in early for a reason, they expect her to contribute this year on some level. At 6'6, she is the only one on the roster size wise that could matchup with some of the bigs on our schedule that we need more help
Cardoso of SC (6'7), Key of TN (6'6), Hollinghsead of TN (6'5), Kitley of VT 6'6, etc. UCLA potentially in Cayman Islands has a 6'7 post
LSU does not need Rosario to score much year one (we have plenty of that). What they need from her is to defend, alter shots and try to compete on the boards vs the bigger posts. The rest is bonus at this point for year one.
