I’m 77&7/12 yo. I saw him on one of our 3 channels several times. Especially playing Russell/ Cousy in the playoffs. He would have scored more, but he played with Cliff Hagen, a big star from Kentucky, who used to shoot a lot. This led to Pettit’s rebounds. Lol...

Great Tiger and pro. Others have posted his stats and accomplishments. He deserves for all Tigers to read this thread at least twice.
He deserves a statue, and deserves to be able to stand in front of it.

I’ve always felt that due to Cannon winning the Heisman, it was too soon to give it to another Tiger. The West Coast media shoe horned Terry Baker a QB from Oregon St. as the winner.
