If tweet fails to load, click here. If he was 6’1 he’d be #1 in the country

If he was committed to Alabama, his height would be ignored, just like it was with Bryce Young.

He ranked # 2 both of the first two days

Not surprised...he's always shined in these settings.

True. This is where you can see his accuracy and how the ball flies off his hand.
I just love his drive to be the best. You can feel it. Same as burrow, same as daniels. I never felt it with Brennan or nuss.

Looks like Trae Taylor won MVP. Pop probably most consistent across all three days. Solid #2 finish. Love his quick release and spin on the ball. It’s like he’s throwing darts out there. I’m more than happy with his performance.

He reminds me of former NLU QB and Shreveport native Raymond Philyaw.

Haven isnt #1 and he's the most toolsy qb in the class. I do understand the sentiment regarding Alabama and rankings though.
Bryce Youngs hs ranking was justified. He was head and shoulders better at that point than any qb in his class. Won a Heisman. Got drafted top of the draft also. Exactly what the rankings are intended for. Wrong example to bitch about rankings.

Bryce Young was the weakest Heisman winner of the modern era save for 2020. Drafted first overall in a weak class and has been a massive BUST. Solid example.

The bama inferiority complex is strong in this thread.

quote:So let me see if I have this correct, the scouting agencies got it wrong by having a guy as the #1 prospect even with the hindsight of him winning the Heisman trophy and being the 1st overall pick in the draft?
Solid example.
