ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum is sounding off on the state of the game, saying there are a lot of “stupid” people covering the sport...
quote:

“We’ve got a lot of stupid people covering college football,” Finebaum said on his eponymous show. “If you make the playoffs, they’re going to prop you up more. You heard it last year with ‘Tennessee, made it, Alabama made it.’ It doesn’t matter what happened after they made it. I think it does matter. I think that should be the minimum. You think Kirby Smart in a 24-team playoff is going to be happy if they lose in the first game? Of course not. And neither are the Georgia fans.”

There's some irony here, it seems like a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

He's one of those who casts out a line of controversy trying to catch any fish who will bite. It comes with most in the media profession.

He's right about there being a lot of stupid people in sports media, but he might be the biggest jerk. Screw him.

This guy really gonna act like he’s not part of the problem with sports media? Or media in general for that matter? Clicks/views is all they care about.

If he wasn't so busy bitching about everything on ESPN, is there any doubt that he'd be sitting on his porch yelling at everybody to stay off his lawn?

And he is one of them...
