On a positive note, Larson is batting .467 as a starter in SEC games. Has been one of the few bright spots this season. Kid is a special player and could be the next LSU great.

Makes me wonder why it took so long to insert him in the lineup at this point

He’s definitely off to a damn good start! He’s one of the best on team already.

You could see it from the first time he stepped up to the plate. The confidence, poise, and ability to see pitches stood out in a big way. Dude can battle pitchers

Better hope he doesn't decide to do it somewhere else.

Larson is already a star. He wasnt inserted earlier because he wasnt ready. You can tell the first few ABs he had he was struggling with offspeed and struck out badly a couple times. But he adjusted quickly. And now he is a star

Jay loves the long ball. Seems to me why Milazzo rarely played through Neal’s struggles, Pearson started the season at 2nd over Milam, and Jake Brown started at right over Larson.

Larson and Milam have plenty enough pop to drive balls into the gap, and each push 5-10 over the wall as they get stronger next season. They may have both started game 1 under Mainieri.

Thats cute, but i doubt mainieri starts larson game 1.

Neal plays over milazzo because his bat is better than milazzo and he has more potential. Milazzo is gone after this year and his bat is below average

Kling could learn a lot from Larson as far as balance throughout the swing

Why are you afraid of this?

PM would have started Justin Loer over Larson because he was an all star left fielder in little league one time.

He’s just an insufferable poster. Go look at his posting history.

You don’t transfer from LSU baseball when you are actually playing. You transfer when you think you should be playing and you aren’t. Only way Larson goes anywhere is if he gets homesick.

We all love it, but there comes a time when you realize this team has to scratch together wins in multiple different ways

So he’s playing now on a regular basis as freshman but yet he’s going to transfer?
