Best fans in the country: LSU led nation in sports attendance over past 3 athletic seasons

total accumulative attendance over the last 3 years across ALL sports

That's incredible considering it's the worst season for the main 3 sports in recent memory.

the last 3 years saw:
- 3 football seasons that had bright spots and hope, but ultimately got the coach fired.
- Basketball - that got the head man fired, (admittedly, I don't watch basketball so I don't know much more than that).
-Baseball- 2024 decent-2025 natty- 2026 worst season in A LONG time.
that's pretty amazing that during a historically bad 3 year stretch, LSU led in attendance.

Is this paid attendance or actual attendance?
If it's paid then that would make sense.
Football and Baseball season tickets were sold out. I don't know about men's basketball season tickets but we were probably on par with the other SEC schools between these 3.
Having strong support in Women's Basketball, Gymnastics, and softball is what probably put us over the top.

They are passionate followers of their sports teams-- quite surprising given that in recent years they've been mostly terrible in everything except women's basketball
