College Footballs Ten Best THINGS

Josh Pate Video
Josh Pate released a video yesterday. A fan based response to a tweet he put out in regards to the things fans love about college football. Answers varied from traditions, bands, rivalries, etc but Josh's favorite LSU thing?Scrolled to about 8 mins in.
TLDR: NECK.
One of the largest media heads out there even admit it's a game day tradition. As bad as most of yall want to move on from our "trashiest" tradition, some people still love it, even the ones that aren't necessarily a fan of our program.

I chuckle every time I hear it. I'm not embarrassed by it either as a fan. I like that the students, many of whom were babies when the chant started, have still kept this alive, despite the administration trying to squash it for over a decade. Call me trashy if you like.

I admit, one thing that caught me off guard after the WBB championship was someone saying LTTPB.

I remember when Mike in the trailer would top these lists. Now we are so much more enlightened and progressive than those barbarians before us that would put a poor animal in a cage and (gasp!) drive around a stadium. We are so much more civilized and educated now, so we have things like STTDB that top the list instead.

Yeah we figured out it was OK to have thousands of people surrounding his enclosure screaming and yelling while the band and team walks to the stadium but bringing him inside is just too much

He’s always saying on his show LSU his favorite place to visit and he loves everything about it.

This is the tradition that I miss the most. That story from the '79 game against USC where the players got nervous because outside the visitors locker-room was Mike the Tiger in his cage. Miss that tradition.

People on here say that about everyone. They’re insecure. Pate is very fair to everyone. Including LSU. That’s why he’s so popular. He calls it how he sees it and never shows any bias.

He’s the best in the business IMO. Love His background on how he was just a big fan of the sport like anyone else and working a normal job from a normal family then worked his way up using his own platform. He didn’t have any connections or anything like that.
