Didn’t see the WBB game. Was there anything positive? Anything that would give us hope?

Mikaylah Williams will score at will for years to come.

Mikaylah is the most skilled player on the team and honestly the offense should run through her.

Sa'Myah's offense is significantly improved but physically she still gets backed down a bit in the post and struggles a bit defensively.

Outside of that...

Mulkey is positive that she has to figure out the point guard situation.

I believe what some people said that Mulkey decided to just let them play and maybe learn a lesson. Normally she would be all over them. But she was very calm and didn't say much. I hear that after the game she gave them a chewing out which might have been a good lesson. That the trouble when you win it all. You expect the same thing next year and when that doesn't happen all of a sudden people think we are going down the tube. I would love to be on the sidelines this week for practice. We'll be ok.

55 should stay on the bench.

Based on what I saw last night...

My hope is that Velez can be brought up to speed to run the point. Have Hailey and Johnson as scoring 2 guards. HVL is your secondary ball handler

Williams is scoring option 1 as small forward who can create off the dribble at will. Morrow is scoring option 2 as power forward.

Reese is just sitting around the basket cleaning up the boards. She doesn't need to have the offense go through her.

Poa is your primary defender off the bench. Smith is you first forward off the bench to give rest when needed.

Poole plays in spurts to guard primarily. She shouldn't be handling the ball

Will miss the point guard from last year Morris alot. They dont appear to have anyone with a similar skill set either. They dont have anyone that can drive and create offensive opportunities with quickness and speed. And cant defend that kind of player on the defensive side of the ball either. They do have size and power and will win alot of games like that but any real quick team that shoots good from the field will give them alot of problems.

We will be fine. KM knows what she is doing and most likely saw this performance coming.

Angel Reese did a sports illustrated glam up photo last month. So there’s that.

Williams will be the best player in women’s college basketball likely by the end of the season. She looks like a female Kobe .

Yes, the positive is that Mulkey let them play themselves into embarrassment. It was needed.
