As a long time Baton Rouge resident and a current UL student I'm quite excited to be back in Alex Box for the first time in years. Just how badly is LSU A&M gonna beat the Cajuns? Definitely not expecting a Cajuns win with the national rank and us rocking a losing record, but think it might be at least a tiny bit competitive? Have not stayed that up to date with Tiger baseball so I was runnin here to see what was up.

It's usually always a competitive matchup but seems to mean more to UL than LSU. I expect to see some guys from the back half of our bullpen pitch that need work so could be a dogfight if our bats stay quiet like they did on Sunday afternoon. If you wear red, bring a rain poncho because you might get pelted with piss balloons if you deserve it lol.

As an LSU fan, I've learned to NEVER write off this game as an automatic win before the end of the 9th inning. ULL usually plays us well.

OP was too dumb to get into LSU. Had to go to a directional school.

Cajuns baseball and softball suck this year. softball was to be expected but baseball should be way better than it is.

In baseball, no game is a given. However, this is one of the poorer Cajuns' teams in a while. Barring an unexpected pitching performance by both sides, this should not be a competitive game.

Team ERA

Cajuns - 5.59

Tigers - 3.74

Team BA

Cajuns - .247

Tigers - .337

Total RBIs (both played 25 games)

Cajuns - 119

Tigers - 227

Total Runs (both played 25 games)

Cajuns - 140

Tigers - 245

Our pitching sucks
Our pitching coach sucks
We can’t hit
We can’t play defense
Jay Johnson is the Ed Orgeron of college baseball

Cajuns by three touchdowns tonight

Being a ULL grad but remaining an LSU fan triggers them soooo hard. People can’t wrap their mind around the fact that LSU athletics is bigger than just LSU the school. They’re infact completely separate entities in the eyes of many.

Word is UL may throw Andrew Hermann, who is their 1B with Chase Marshall. LSU faced him last year in Houston and he pitched well.

1B? Like 1A & 1B? At first I thought you meant 1st baseman.

Those look to be their two best starters

Morgan and Hermann are each 2-1.

Morgan (18 IP, 2.5 ERA 26 Ks,6 BB, 1 HBP, 1 HR, 1 3B,1 2B, 2WP) has 4 starts,

Hermann (28 IP, 3.54 ERA, 25 Ks, 7 BB, 3 HBP, 4HR, 2 3B, 6 2B) has 2 starts but appeared in 5 other games and has a save as well as one complete game. Neither has played first base for the team.
