I was just thinking the other day about how we don’t have to see him get worked game in game out anymore in our secondary.

Cheers Sage.

If he’s starting at Ole Miss, that’s great for LSU.

Kid is dog shite with dyed hair.

Had a convo with buddies earlier…

Has there ever been a 3-year starter that did less? Guy played 39 games in 3 seasons and barely got to 100 tackles and only INT was from a TE throwing it

LSU can’t wait either…glad he’s on the other side and LSU knows his weaknesses .. every one of them…put his name “BURNT TOAST” on the back of his jersey becuz that’s all you’re going to see when he’s chasing down LSU receivers all game…

Sage was the master of being about 2-3 steps behind on every play. If his game sped up a few steps he'd be an All-American. Instead he's burnt toast in just about every situation.

Even when he did make a play they seemed accidental like that fumble he forced in TAMU's game.

Nothing against the guy he played hard he just wasn't very good. GL Sage.

Better give a cushion. He's not fast enough to keep up with the speed we have at WR this year especially if he falls for double move

Was Sage a grad transfer, or did he just decide to forgo his senior season and transfer out of LSU to Ole Miss?

My favorite Sage Ryan moment is forever when he tried stripping the Ole Miss WR of the ball instead of taking him to the ground for a minimal gain, got carried 20 yards trying to strip and the WR broke free for an additional 40yds gain. IDR if he scored on the play but it is forever etched in my brain

lol no one scared of him unless he’s learned to miraculously cover wide receivers

It’s a weird deal. We’ve had 5 stars with high expectations come through and end up doing literally nothing of import. Clifton Garret for example. Arik Gilbert, etc. But it’s hard to think of another 5* who came in and PLAYED as much as he did and still have such a bad legacy. All the other busts did just that—they busted out and didn’t play. But we had to see him get torched weekly for years. I really don’t know which is worse. Obviously if we had a better DB room the last few years he wouldn’t have played as much.
