The targeting is getting a lot of attention, but I'm wondering if anyone has .gifs of the no-call for horse collaring JD5 before halftime and the "horse-collar" called on HP4's sack with his hand on the chest.

Big difference. Bring some one to the ground by collar is automatic horse collar. Throwing someone down by collar is not a horse collar

the constant whining about the referees is infantile.

Did we get some bad calls? Yes.

Did Bama? Yes, but we don't notice them because those calls went our way.

The reason we lost last night was our horrific defense, which has been awful all season. End of story.

Did I say anything about it being the reason lsu lost? No, I simply asked if anyone had .gifs of those plays. GTFO if your answer to the topic is "no."

I agree. The one on LSU was definitely a horse collar. Pulling someone down by the back of the pads is exactly what they are trying to prevent. The Bama guy did not do that. He waited until Daniels was turned and threw him forward. That is not a dangerous move.

In real time, it looked like he grabbed Daniels behind the neck and pulled him backwards. It also looked like Perkins already had Milroe by the front of his jersey first before his hand went to his back.

I haven't seen replays, hence the question.

YouTube stream of game

So I found this. First play is at 51:15. At 53:02, they go back a look at it again and GD comments that it could have been called as a horse collar. It clearly shows the Bama defender grabbing right behind the neck and throwing Daniels down from behind him.

Perkins play is at 2:02:09. Perkins has Milroe in the front and is already beginning to tackle him before his hand gets on Milroe's shoulder, and the tackle was made pulling Milroe down to the front.

A key difference is that this was a 3rd down and would have forced a FG attempt, instead the next play on the automatic first down was the TD that put Bama up by 14. So to the guy that said calls like that didn't affect the game, GFY.

That’s just not true. You cannot grab someone by the nameplate of their jersey to make a tackle. It doesn’t matter which way they fall.

I agree with all of this, the only thing I cannot get over if the hit on Jayden. It was clearly over the top intentional and was targeting. The fact they lied about reviewing and then said it wasn't targeting is bullshite and everyone knows it. Everything else I can accept.

Can we also discuss how milroe had perkins facemask keeping him at arms length and unable to wrap up. How else is he supposed to bring him down?

Ok but we could have improved our chances of winning by targeting Milroe and giving him a concussion so he couldn't play the 4th qtr...
