Gone Giddy Yellow ...

and Midnight Purple are the two colors that Gliddens Paint at Home Depot identified as LSU's official colors. I brought a handful of pics as well as an official LSU Jersey to the Home Depot to correctly identify the colors so I could paint my man cave correctly, and these are the two that chemically matched. Hopefully this might help somebody out. But it begs the question, why must LSU continue to go on with the Purple & Gold nonsense ? Why dont we just embrace the Purple & Yellow and let Notre Dame keep that ugly gold shite ?
Btw, my LSU room looks awesome !

Go with Behr next time. Glidden tends to be thin and runny imo

These aren't useful for matching paint colors FYI

You can probably cross refence the colors somewhere, but I wouldn't take it anywhere and try to match.

Notre Dame gold is ‘old gold’ and not the same as LSU gold (yellow).

I saw a clip from a game show, in which they asked what color a referee’s flag was. The choices were all goofy, except the only one close was “Gold”.

That's cool but you can't take pantone codes or RGB codes or HEX codes into a paint store and match paint that way.

I couldn't think of a better place to hang my framed degree, although now that Im retired, those deer and fish on the wall are way more important ?? Outdoors is what I work at now??

I appreciate what you’ve done for people in the future looking for paint colors. But no one here wants to hear it be called “yellow”. It’s a pride thing.
