Man to have Devin Sheerin right about now in the season.

Every baseball team has a few serious injuries. It’s incredible he and Guidry are the only two out right now

It’s a possibility but let’s not pretend we are going to get a ton of innings out of him immediately

Ahh yes, the hero pitcher that got hurt and when he comes back he never looks any better than Shores. I love being continuously disappointed by LSU pitching.

doesn't really matter

they have to figure out how to start hitting again. the past few weeks has been a complete disaster at the plate

I mean definitly wouldn’t suck to have guidry and Sheerin right now.

Sheerin was a very exciting pick up.

109 ks in 70 innings is a very interesting pitcher

Is he really that good? Would we be saying the same thing right now if Dorsey or Benge was the injured one who hasn’t pitched all year? lol

True but 1 -2 additional lock down innings a weekend from May 15th on would be massive for this pen.

Context is your friend Chad. This wasn't an arm injury and we aren't and were never expecting a starter's workload from DS

No we wouldn’t. He was the number 8 overall player in the transfer portal last year. Would’ve been up for our starting rotation this year. He’s much better than Benge and Dorsey

Yes but it’s still the fact that a lot of guys on here are making out like Sheerin was the next coming of Kevin Gausman. We really don’t know how good he his. He may suck as an SEC pitcher for all we know just like half these dudes on LSUs staff now that everyone had a boner for when they transferred here. It’s always the guy that got hurt or we never see that is the best pitcher/player on the team lol

I don’t think anyone has said that. I think people are hoping he could come back and maybe be a 3rd arm out of pen that we can trust come post season. Because right now we only have 2 and you aren’t winning shite with only 2 reliable bullpen arms. Especially when you only have 2 starters on the team

Asking bc I don’t know but is one leg more important than the other for a pitcher in regards to stability and which ACL did he tear?

Seems like the stride leg would have a harder time dealing with an injured ACL but I have no clue.
