I think he gets picked up by an NFL squad after the UFL season.
In addition, the UFL ratings has been doing very well. They're getting around 800k viewers per game. The week 1 to week 2 dropoff for USFL and XFL was 50%, the UFL had a 18% dropoff. UFL has had 4 games with over 1 million views. USFL and XFL combined had 1 over their course, and it came immediately after the Kentucky Derby so seemingly people just left it on the TV.

I was very surprised that the Saints never called him up from the practice squad last year considering the garbage fire that their receivers were.
