A whole 1st page of how we lost to NSU etc. You people just do not know baseball and or strategy especially when Tennessee is coming in! Pathetic fans!

A bunch of emotional children finally had to let it out.

They can't control their emotions in real life, & that's the reason for an entire page of melting over a mid week loss.

Eventually reality sets in for these people how irrelevant last night's game was, but they sure do out themselves as very emotional beings in the process.

That being said...you have the right to be concerned if we lay an egg against Tennessee.

First midweek loss of the season and everyone panics.

If we lose this series this weekend they'll use this loss to say we suck.

Here's the thing- if we won the midweek game and lost the series this weekend they'd also say we suck.

Just win this weekend

We take 2/3 against Tennessee & everyone quickly forgets this loss.

It was the first midweek run-rule loss ever. It was historically bad. People have a right to be disappointed.

I remember years ago when Smoke was coach there was a caller named Meathead who used to call in the radio talk shows. He was a baseball only fan and a big Smoke supporter/apologist and he used to call in every day to chastise the folks that dared criticize Smoke - always saying that the critics didn't realize whatever was happening was part of the bigger plan - Smoke's plan.

Now I'm absolutely not comparing or saying Jay is Smoke - he's not. But your inference to a pretty embarrassing loss as baseball strategy in preparation for Tennessee coming in just reminded me of that.

This is a lot of words from someone who is claiming that other people are being too emotional on a message board…

The amount of my words does not denote emotion. A bunch of people flooding the board with an entire page of melting denotes emotion.

I realize you're on the side of melters who are very concerned, I haven't reached that point yet though.

Do you expect fans to just roll over and accept this unacceptable loss?

It got you emotional enough to post about it. If you really didn’t care, you wouldn’t be on here going back and forth with people.

I’ve been melting?

Why is Jay still tinkering? Jake Brown needs to be in right field, Braswell at third, Jones at first, and Frey and Josh Pearson DH depending on who is on the mound.

First of all, eat a satchel of Richards.
Secondly, it's one thing to lose a game or perhaps conserve energy, etc. for an upcoming opponent. It's a completely different beast when you absolutely tank a game.
