Would love a Kyren Lacy memorial outside of Tiger Stadium.

He may have made mistakes, but not only was he a young man just starting to find his way in life, he was a part of the LSU family, he was a son, a friend. I am in no way excusing his potential legal troubles. The family of the man that was killed has my deepest condolences. But that doesn’t make Kyren a bad person, he just made a very poor choice and would have paid the consequences for that choice, and rightfully so. However, I would still like to honor Kyren’s life. His game winning TD against ole miss holds a special place in my heart for a personal reason. So it, in a way, feels like a family member has passed.

Would love to honor him. Hopefully this doesn’t come off as insensitive or anything. Just feels weird no one has done anything yet. While I understand why, it just doesn’t feel right….he was a Tiger that was going through a lot in life, and seems like he didn’t have someone to talk him down from the ledge. This seems like the least I can do.
I’m sure I’ll get some slack from people because of his legal troubles.

I don't want to speak for anyone, but I would have to imagine that they were even saddened by the news. I almost feel like making something positive out of this. Something so that the legacy of Kyren and the person that was killed in the accident can both live on, and that neither of them lost their lives for nothing.

Oh yeah I’m sure that guy’s family would love a joint memorial with the guy that ran him off the road & killed him.

Plenty of great Tigers have passed without any such thing. It is not needed.

New information obtained by WBRZ says Lacy was arguing with a family member shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday. He reportedly pulled out a gun and shot it at the ground before leaving the area. About 30 minutes later, a constable spotted Lacy driving and attempted to make a traffic stop. Deputies said Lacy refused to stop and was chased for several miles

Yea. Let’s immortalize this

I'm not talking about a memorial. Just something in general, and it doesn't really even have to be together.

How bout a statement giving condolences to the family. That’s all that’s needed and it’s been done.

Would be so appropriate, just like this idea..

Lol. Why don’t we go put up a George Floyd statue while we’re at it.

We should try to honor some more criminals instead of actual role models. (Sarcasm)
