LSU BAND STOLE SO CALL NECK SONG !!!!

The so call song talking out the side of your neck that LSU plays now after they kick the extra point that every one waves there hand in the air has been played for about 20 years by ever swac band including southern university. And it sounds 10 times better. I tired of hearing them mess that song up and every one thinks they got something new. If they are going to play it at least play it right. There band was voted one of the top bands but espn said they were not the best in there own state . This is like the movie bring it on. Until they start playing songs that are up to date and that get there football team hype and enjoy like swac school bands they have along way to go.Remember what color most of the players are so I don't think they enjoy it. Usc band plays everything so everyone is happy so hey it might help get players. Old miss the same problem you know how hard it is to get good ath. when your band is playing dixie. Houston nut is trying its hardest to get rid of all of that so hey as little importance as a band seems it can make a big difference. The song isn't original to anyone except for the group that sang "Talking Out the Side of Ya Neck". Marching bands do covers. . .that's far from front page news.

well..I'm in tigerband, and trust me..we know about the song, who plays it, etc. we always make sure to play a little bit of everything
the part I find most entertaining, is seeing a song like that played in a predominantely white crowd and they're all waving their hands...awesome stuff to watch, haha

swac bands sound like a jumbled up mess. i'd take LSU's over southern any day of the week and who really cares anyway?

Are you serious southern band is 90% boys and we all know they play louder then girls and you know lsu dancers can not keep up with southern dancers.Plus they have way more music they play at the game is you stay on that site that is over 100 songs that they play. Ask some of the student who they would rather watch at halftime a walking band are a marching band. Why you think usc band is so popular they march like a swac band.

Southern's version is layered more and they do more with the song. Only difference is LSU has better musicians. I really enjoy watching Southern and Grambling perform, they have fun with the music. One of the reasons for a band is performance. LSU's band has tradition and is very powerful, but Southern's really is more entertaining. SU's won't put a chill down your spine like LSU's will.
