you think Longergan gets the start over T Bob?
Posted on 3/3/10 at 3:18 pm to Big Fat
I think its 50/50 but he definitely has a legit shot of doing it, it will be a battle
Posted on 3/3/10 at 3:19 pm to Beaux
Could be. I just hope its truly "open" for competition and not granted due to seniority or anything like that. Les needs to light that fire.

Stop Shea.
Also, Downs should be ahead of both Brockers and Davenport IMO

I meant if you are trying to be official. Loston isn't running with the 1s right now, and Eugene just moved to safety to make sure he could start. Miles also said Taylor would start.
I think Claiborne became a college CB quicker than Loston became a college S, and now Eugene is moving positions because of it.

Questions about the DL-really think Downs gets buried that deep? And I was hoping Montgomery was going to push into a starting position.
And I hope you are right about Loston over Eugene, but sounds like Shea doesn't think so. Realize all we have is HS observations, but Loston needs to be on the field!
And is Brooks a safety or a corner-from his ST play, he is another one that seems to be field worthy, unless he really can't cover anyone.

i don't like our non-existent depth at WR. one or two guys get hurt and we're in trouble.
Posted on 3/3/10 at 3:32 pm to Rohan2Reed
i think that Richard Murphy will lead the way for rb's.
Posted on 3/3/10 at 3:33 pm to SirRohantheDefender
Yeah I think thats a close battle...Loston is the better athlete, but Eugene has the knowledge

Thought at least a couple of our incoming freshman receivers were deemed physically ready? I am a lot more confident in BG getting them ready than with DJ.

Tiger Rag has some decent predictions as well
LINK
actually, looks the same except he switched Nevis to a starter. Which I would have done as well

The thing I don't quite understand about Jai Eugene moving to safety is who the hell is going to be our 3rd and 4th CB's. I mean, there were times last year when we had to move Brandon Taylor to CB, and we lost Hawkins. Not sure I see the depth there to have the luxury of moving a senior CB with lots of experience to a new position.

This list is mostly based on spring practice. I think Boone and Wright could get some time. I thought Boone would be nice for KR (see the end of this video)

, but it sounds like we are throwing our stars in at PR and KR.

a few questions:
-shouldn't chris faulk be starting somewhere on the o-line?
-is ken adams really better than montgomery and mingo?
-is lavar edwards really a starting-quality end?
-is josh downs really the worst dt on the team?

Looked strong and quick last year. Really the bright spot on DE.

I think he is hurt and that is why he is here due to early spring evaluations. No, he's not the worst DT we have.
