Here is a list I constructed of the top LSU FB players of all time in my mind. Not sure why it’s 33 but that just happens to be where I stopped the list at. Looking forward to where y’all would adjust some of these players/put other players on the list etc. Looking for some more perspective from fellow Tiger fans.
1. Joe Burrow
2. Billy Cannon
3. Kevin Faulk
4. Tyran Mathieu
5. Tommy Casanova
6. Patrick Peterson
7. Glenn Dorsey

10. Jammar Chase
11. Josh Reed

Having Michael Brooks at 33 is criminal

Was he better than Devin White? I am a younger Tiger fan, but White is the best I’ve ever seen at LSU.

Jacob Hester has to be on this list.

Y.A. Title should not be on this list imo, or at least no where near that high. He was great in the NFL but not sure that a guy who was never an All-American deserves to be #8.

Edited to add Hester. My favorite player ever before Burrow came along.

Impressive list.
Not sure Ali Highsmith or Sancho belong.
IMO, Roy Winston, AJ Duhe, Whitworth should be on it.

I slipped up with no Tommy Hodson no doubt.

Nice list, but these two should be on it IMO
A.J. Duhe
Kyle Williams

Funny enough Kyle Williams was on my honorable mention list. Duhe should probably be on it according to some of y’all here.

Whitworth could definitely be on it, but then I would probably have to consider La’el Collins as well.

I'd definitely have Whit on there if Ciron is, but it's your list.
If I even tried doing something like this, it'd only be guys I've seen play (since the mid 90s). With some kinda honorable mention for the all time greats (Cannon, Hodson, Charles Alexander, Hilliard, etc.).

So then shouldn't your stupid fricking list have Hester listed at #2?

Oh you’re a big man Mr. Keyboard warrior.

It's hard to do these lists since we didn't see a lot of the older guys. Jerry Stovall needs to be higher up. He was Heisman Runner up and lost to Terry Baker b/c he had cancer.

No Tommy Hodson???? List is crap.
Posted on 7/28/23 at 2:03 pm to TigerLifer18
No Eric Andolsak… list is even more stupid.

Your personal favorite doesn’t mean where you rank them as far as players.

Based on LSU/collegiate career, Stovall probably too low.
Highsmith was not better than Brooks.
