Eifert hints at Justin Jefferson trade to the Bengals
However unlikely it may seem, stranger things have happened. It'd be awesome to see them all reunited. Unsure if Germans, haven't been on much today. Gotta think it'd take a ton of structuring to get Chase, Joe and Justin in the same camp, but dammit would it make me happy to see that happen. What better recruiting pitch could you ask for if they all reuinited and won a Superbowl, or five.

Bengals haven’t done crap to help Burrow win a SB so i really doubt it. Wish Burrow would demand a trade

Do they have the cap space? Burrow needs a strong OL

do i not know what Germans means?

Wish it would happen, but no way you can get 3 of the nfl’s best young talents to shoot down franchise sized contracts. All 3 of those demand the highest market value at the given positions. I doubt they take pay cuts unless they were veterans toward the end of their career.

Wish they’d build up the trenches but I Jefferson goes there Joe can just yeet the bitch like Tua does
ETA: like the poster above me said. They can’t afford a franchise WR. All three players would have to take a pay cut
But if anyone were to take a cut I could see burrow and Jefferson doing it

They started with nearly 70 million.
They are down to about 45 million.
They stupidly swapped dependable Mixon for Zac Moss.
Still no help on the O-line, questionable move at RB, Higgins in limbo.
Not sure what's going on in that front office.

The only way this would happen is if Ja'Marr and Justin took significant pay cuts on their first big contracts. Seems really unlikely as legendary as it would be. Jefferson allegedly turned down north of 30 million dollars a year from Minny last offseason.

They cannot afford Burrow, Chase, Jefferson and still field a competent Oline/Defense. This will NOT happen

I thought Joe was gonna turn down money to get better players last year but he’s showing smart now because the bengals office is going full retard.
Joe should get as much money as he can because they aren’t going to invest in his protection.

He should have demanded a trade if he wants a championship

quote:Jefferson hasn’t signed his second contract yet. He is getting 19mil just for 2024 which is 5th year option with Vikings on the rookie deal. He’s going to be getting around 30mil a year contract (top 3 WR money) when he does sign that next contract. And then the year after Jamar Chase will be getting his second contract in that ballpark.
Do they have the cap space? Burrow needs a strong OL
So hypothetically, if Chase/Jefferson/Burrow were on the same team in 2025, they would account for pretty much 40% of entire Bengals salary cap. And then the % would go up over time as Burrow’s cap hit gets wild in year 3. Its not unheard of that they’d do this, but I dont think its in their best interest.

I don’t think he was trade eligible at that point. And if he was it would’ve crippled any nfl program and he’d be in the same boat

I love Burrow but i thought he’d be the type to sacrifice his salary to field SB caliber teams. He will never win one in Cincy now

They just need to draft Brian Thomas Jr.

I could see him renegotiating it to allow this to happen. I could see all three of them working/reworking to make this happen honestly. That's the best offensive trio ive seen at any level besides what we saw this year at LSU. Which brings an interesting possibility. Could they draft BTJ instead of getting Jefferson? They absolutely have to invest in o-line, but BTJ would give Joe another massive deep threat. The Bengals have already shown they aren't scared to go and get the best receivers in the draft while in need of OL.

You think all of them can't come to an agreement to win a championship? It is easy. Front load all of the contracts and it doesn't hit the cap. It isn't chess, it's checkers.

sacrifice his salary
Your fandom is getting in the way…players hardly ever take the “hometown discount” this early in their career.
If he were to sacrifice any of his salary, it should be on a All-Pro OL

Been saying call CEH! They could get him on a steal. They know how to utilize him, KC does not.
