I saw the interview with Jones after the game. I’m disappointed a reporter didn’t ask Jones about the exchange with the ump right there.
Just speculation, but if asked Jones would probably not remember.

I don’t understand what the deal is with umps doing this. He just hit a huge walk off home run in a huge SEC game after coming from behind in the bottom of the 9th. Just let him have his moment. He wasn’t taunting the other team or doing anything disrespectful at all.
