Missouri doesn’t belong in the SEC. That’s a big 12 program

I'm just surprised that Mizzou kept it close against Bama. They lost 2 games, but didn't get run ruled.

Maybe they're turning the corner...

A&M, Florida, and State have all played much better after a terrible start. I believe all were 1-8 starting out.

The only bad teams are SC and ................

MIZZ

a win today and we can most likely go 5-5 the rest of the way and have a top 8 seed.

There's a huge logjam there from #2-#10.

Arkansas has a brutal finish to their schedule.

Two series down the stretch could be the difference between a top 8 seed and going on the road for a regional or vice versa for several of these teams.

not only 0-20, but Bama is 6.5 run favorites today, and -2100. Good god they are bad.

i like where we are in the mix....and with a win today, we could literally lose out to everyone but SC, and win 2/3 from them, and host a Regional. Of course, I still think with a win today we go 20-10 and get a 4 or 5 seed.

I don't care where we are seeded 1 through 8.. but it's super or bust at this point.

Going 6-5 from here on our gets us to 19-11 and a virtual lock for a t8 natty seed heading into Hoover

Since it seems like most are in agreement that a top 4 finish would get us a top 8 seed, the magic number to clinch top 4 is 9. Over ole miss and Vandy

I agree with this...looking at seedings SEC will likely have 4 top 8 seeds...minimum...so I think 19-11 gets us in the top 4 of the SEC....20-10 likely gets us #2. I don't think Texas can be caught at this point, but who cares.

9 what, losses?

Don't see us going 21-9....but 19-11 is likely getting us there.

You’d think Missouri would accidentally win a game at some point

Yeah, games like last night are gonna wind up being huge when it’s all said and done. Not just for us. There’s a lot of baseball left to be played, and there’s no telling how it shakes out.

We just can’t afford to be on the losing end of games like last night, blowing 3-0 9th inning leads. Because we’re not as good offensively as we thought we were coming into conference, and we’re not just gonna slug our way to many wins. Especially with who we’ve got left. USCe and Paul may be ready to roll over by the last weekend, but we’re likely gonna have to win a lot of close games in the next 11. We could finish 2nd or 8th based on just a handful of relatively small things.

Meanwhile Texas just waltzing through with every Top 10 series at home and not having back to back road series all year. Still, their record is as impressive as Mizzou’s is atrocious.

The schedule Texas football and baseball got was infuriating. You’re a fool if you don’t think they sweetened their deal to go to the SEC.
