What's the real story behind Max Johnson leaving...

Something doesn't add up. I'm sorry to break it to you but he's hands down a better QB than Daniels. Also, he bailed before Daniels was even a threat. What gives?

Max was complete shite last year in the meat of our schedule.
Myles in the spring game was substantially better than Max. Ironically Jayden looks exactly the same as he did in that game.

Max was very mediocre, but way better than JD, who is right there with 2014 Jennings.

I don’t agree that Max Johnson is a better QB than Daniels and I have been critical of Daniels’ passing. Johnson held the ball just as bad but couldn’t run either. And he had a more experienced O-line. Like it or not we are better with Daniels.

I was not a max fan, but my god, I'd take 27 touchdowns right now, a nail biter with bama, and last second win over A&M.

I was somewhat satisfied with Max - considering that he was a rookie.
Daniels is seasoned and still - to me - looks worse.

LOL, I'm no fan of Max, but while he had a slow delivery, he did throw for 27 touchdowns. Once some of the cancers of the team were gone last year, LSU played really hard down the stretch, pulling that upset over a&m with a great throw by Max, and damn near beating Bama. Daniels is straight garbage as a qb. Whoever advised him, should have led him to be a WR. Max Johnson may never make it to the NFL, but he has years to improve. Daniels has zero chance to sniff the NFL as a QB.

I think we already see Nuss doing that. He was very good against NM, then again against Auburn. His one pass that sailed on him was well out of bounds at Auburn, and I think that was him throwing it away so as not to commit a turnover. It's hard for him to do that with his gunslinger mentality, so it'll take some time to polish throwing it away. ha

What’s crazy is he really isn’t better than JD. Peetz actually got slammed here but he made Johnson look great

I think our offensive scheme is why Max left. His dad saw what was in the future here, throw in a few dollars and off to the Aggies!
