Evidently Mississippi had a substantial automobile insurance rate increase among all carriers this summer. I googled it, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know of a specific percentage that was approved by the state this year?

I'm in MS and looked at my online account with State Farm.

2023 Rav4 April bill was $307.99 for 6 months full coverage w 100/300. Upcoming Oct bill is $344.24

2006 Tundra same coverage was $261.38 in April. Doesn't say what Oct bill will be. If it's the same increase as Rav4 would be $291.96.

Every year, the Dept of Insurance allows rate increases.
But, it is not "across the board".
State Farm could be approved for 10%, Allstate 14%, Farmers 18%, etc
Best bet is to shop around, or have your agent do so.

Travelers here. Mine went down in May from $298 to $290/mo. I have a 2023 z71 suburban and a 2014 tundra.

Home owners went up $600/yr with travelers but so did the appreciation of the property.
