From Pat McAfee:

I reached out to @AaronDonald97 this morning.. According to source(s) it for sure got him thinking.. He said he's 35 and he's gotta see if that fire can light backup.. Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett playing together with the Rams would be INSANE

Or maybe he spent more than he thought he would in retirement.

Dude, if he's 85% of what he was playing next to the others on that DL....wow

I would not want to be Sam Darnold in those 2 games next year.

A couple of bad investments can change a portfolio in a hurry.

Edit to say I like Donald. He's always been a standup guy.

He was still an all pro player when he retired but I wonder what 2 years away/older does if he did hypothetically come back

Then why would this be your first assumption?

Football is hard. Even harder as you get older. Really no reason to go back after all of his accolades. Unless a portfolio took a hit.

For what, a minute? He’s repeatedly said he has no interest in unretiring and was content to go out after a Super Bowl. I’m sure he’d have loved to have played with a guy on the edge like Garrett but this is standard McAfee bullshite

Reggie White, Eric Weddle, Ricky Williams, Deion Sanders, and Randy Moss are all guys who came out of retirement pretty successfully but I think Deion and Weddle were the only 2 who were out of the league for multiples seasons.

Actually that would be fun to watch Garrett team up with AD.

Well being out of the NFL, he didn’t have to stop his cycles for testing periods or to be safe. Probably 300 pounds and only two percent body fat now. Because 300 pounds and five percent was believable…
