Just a few hours after tweeting about LSU, five-star edge rusher Jaiden Bryant flipped his commitment from the Tigers to Miami.

The 6-4, 245-pounder from Columbia, S.C., is rated the No. 2 edge rusher in the country for the class of 2027. He initially committed to the Tigers over South Carolina, Georgia, Miami, and Alabama back on Jan. 3.

Now he's off to Miami.

As many of us have said, "I'll just wait until they sign on the dotted line!"

Remember how everyone wanted to pay the players? Made it worse huh? Like I knew

Do you think they weren’t being paid before? And yes it is worse.

Recruiting is just stupid and pointless now to get hyped about any player until you actually see them on the field making plays during an LSU game.

Then they transfer for more money anyway

It's gotten to the point now, I get more excited about a transfer nowadays, then a high school recruit.

I very much still care about sports, but I am certainly less invested in recruiting this early in the recruiting season…

Agreed. Because it's not really recruiting anymore. School, facilities, etc don't really matter to guys that will be millionaires next year. It comes down to money. And winning to get seen. Miami offers both as well

So when we get a recruit is Orgeron’s meat head in the photo and when we lose one it’s Baker’s?

Considering he committed in January before O was rehired, and the recruits LSU are now getting is recent, that makes sense.

GTHO with that bull shite. O was hired to recruit and KEEP recruits. This was lost due to money and they blame Blake and when we get a recruit it is because of Orgeron. Optics are optics

I just wait til signing day to see who is on the roster. Until that day you can get your heart broken a bunch watching these kids commit then flip.

Yep a commit is better than nothing and I'd rather have one than not, but it means less and less. Or rather $$$ gets bigger and bigger.

They will start "flipping" at halftime of a game and change jerseys. Sad day to be a recruiter, unless you have a boatload of money.
