Anyone with YouTube TV unable to watch the Astros play yesterday and today?

I am new to YouTube TV as I transitioned from DirecTV where I was able to watch pretty much all the Astros Broadcast games. For some reason, yesterday’s game on the MLB channel was blacked out. This seems unusual as the game is at the Angels. Anyone with YouTube TV know how I can watch the Astros?

If watching the Astros regularly is important to you, then you have tne wrong streaming service. You'd need to switch to Directv Stream or Fubo to get the AT&T Sportsnet channel.

You had the Astros broadcast channel included with DirecTV

You're blacked out from watching it on MLB Network because you're in the Astros broadcast territory and in theory, you should be able to watch it AT&T Sportsnet. Of course you don't have that channel on YouTube TV and their solution to that problem is get a TV provider who offers it.

I never had YouTube TV. But I don't understand Spectrum's arrangement. The Cardinals game was on Bally Sports South yesterday. The postgame show even shut out part of the Predators game. However, Thursday and today's game is not. And Bally Sports South has been promoting Braves games. However, none of the Braves games have aired on it here yet. So it's a complete crapshoot what game is on. It's so random it doesn't make sense at all.

I would watch it on the fox sports channel.
If the MLB.TV package is purchased on YouTube TV, will it be televised on YouTube TV or will it still be blacked out? I would consider moving on from YouTube TV if I have to but I do enjoy the other Channel options offered.

Since Youtube TV doesn't carry the regional sports channels, any MLB TV or NBA TV game with a team from your region gets blacked out. You'll see games as long as they don't have a team from your region.
I live in Birmingham and NBA TV games with the Pelicans, Hawks and Grizzlies always get blacked out.
The reason it happens is because MLB and NBA TV just rebroadcast the regional sports broadcast. So you'll see the Astros if they play on truly national broadcasts on ESPN or Fox but not on MLB TV.

I have a direct feed from a camera in their centerfield. Great resolution, lots of background noise though.

Reds are on Bally Sports Ohio. So are the Indians, but they are two different channels, just both called Bally Sports Ohio.
Every day both channels have showed Indians game. Did not have that issue last year. Reds on one Indians on other as its supposed to be.
So I flip to Bally Sports South to watch Braves feed instead. It says it's showing the game but American Ninja Warrior was on instead.
Just used my VPN and watched Reds on MLB.TV instead.

I went to Lexington several years ago. I found the Reds game on FSN Ohio. I never saw any channel for the Indians. However, in the western part of your state there is Bally Sports South. Every Predators game has been shown other than the exclusive games other networks have. But when they aren't on it's a roll of the dice who is on. Sometimes a Pacers, Grizzlies, or Cardinals game airs. I even saw some season preview show for the Braves on. Bally Sports South frequently promotes Braves games when the Predators are on. Yet I haven't seen one Braves game on it yet. Earlier today, none of the teams I mentioned are on. American Ninja Warrior was showing. And for the first time I have seen, now a Hornets game is on. Despite Charlotte even being further away than any of the other teams I mentioned. I can't explain the rationale of all the randomness. I'll probably find a Hawks, Magic, or Rays game on tomorrow. It's a new adventure every night I turn on the TV.

Do you have a VPN? You could set it out of region, and try to fool YouTube.

No. The app on my Cheap arse tv keeps crashing for Ballys
I guess I’ll just use Apple+ ESPN+ and MLB network

I just installed a starlink system and got a couple ASUS XT8 routers set up to expand the signal in my home. It’s my understanding that ASUS offers the VPN service but I am at a loss for how to set it up.

Is it included, or do have to pay extra for it? I have Express VPN and the setup is super simple. Just download it and follow the instructions. I use it all over the world.

Nashville doesn't have a MLB team. So I don't know who and how which games are on. The Cardinals have radio affiliates throughout western KY. I haven't found any Braves or Reds games on the radio. So I would figure this is Cardinals territory. Yet I only watched one Cardinals game so far.
WTF? And now the Pacers postgame show is on. Despite the Hornets game and postgame airing earlier. I am going to lose my sanity trying to figure out the Bally Sports South team viewing arrangement. Being so close to Nashville, the Predators definitely get priority over everyone else. But it's anyone's guess after that. I have never seen a Hornets game on this channel until today.

I used to use a VPN to watch NHL games on CBC. However, my new phone isn't playing nice with the VPN. I guess I'll find a new VPN.

I'm probably 100 miles northwest of there. It's a different state too. I would think that would make a difference.

Western KY has a lot of Cardinals fans for sure, but KY is Reds country. 700WLW is Reds radio. Use iHeart if you dont have XM.
I've got a media box so I have quite literally EVERY channel. But I still like the convenience of MLB.TV and use that and my VPN frequently enough
