Saw this from 2015

Charles Barkley on his first agent Lance Luchnick: 'I'd blow his damn brains out' I hate that S.O.B."

Yes, the athletes were at the mercy of the agent/lawyers that represented them. Difficult for someone outside the system to know who's honest and reliable.

Not saying I wouldn’t hit it, pointy elbows and all, but it’s more likely you’ll get silicone out of those udders than milk.

Doesn’t dissuade me one bit. I’d dribble those fun bags like Sir Charles in his prime.

I’m 38, but while I was in high school, Barkley wrote a book, “I may be wrong, but I doubt it”.
When I was a senior in high school, I would “donate” plasma for beer money. The center was in the hood in Tulsa.
I earned a ton of cred reading that book in there, and Sir Charles nailed life in many ways.
I now live in AL, and would vote that dude Governor in a heartbeat.

Dude has the weirdest bio ever. "I got hit by an SUV and then I decided to put down the cleats and become a lawyer."

I guess he couldn't just say, "dad paid me a salary to join his firm."

Re sleazy agents, Ron Guidry from Lafayette & former N.Y. Yankee great, was ripped off by his first agent, a semi ponzi scheme. Guidry pledged to pay back all his creditors & did so within 5 years. His agent left town a step ahead of the Feds, moved to Atlanta & was never heard from again. Guidry obviously made some mistakes but was honest as the day is long.
