As the largest coach, Bert has simply decided to eat all the other coaches

Illinois could legit go 10-2 and possibly sneak into the playoff. Their schedule is incrdibly easy. Only real loss is probably at Penn State and at Oregon (maybe).

They have Michigan who is a garbage pile now, and then it's just dogshit central. They don't even have Iowa and a much-improved Indiana this year

He’s a great coach. Illinois is a tough team. He’s totally revamped the program.

Such a perfect job for him

And there’s nothing wrong with dreaming on them going 10-2 and making the playoff. But any rational person knows they won’t. They’ll lose a stupid game or two they shouldn’t

Agreed. We all thought ND was a shoe-in after the aTm win.

When Ferentz retires, would the Hawkeyes have any interest in Bielema?

The guy likes to have fun and doesn’t take himself so seriously

He’s also rich and gets to come home to a fine piece of arse

I know Arky didn't work out for him but he was very good at Wisky and Illinois is a good program that is lower pressure and expectations. He has done a very nice job there.
