What’s the point?
You go from OU to possibly the worst school?
What’s the point?
At this juncture you know the NFL is not happening.
Why not stay at OU. Eat their food. Wear their gear. Be treated like a king

Some people want to be the big fish in a small pond.
Some people also will take advantage of unlimited transfers to look like a world beater on a shite team then go back to a Power Five team needing a QB.

They’ll process every spot on the roster at bluebloods in CFB. There’s no more room for the program guys who’ll get their degree on the bench

So if the kid actually wants to be able to stay and try to compete in real games, it’s a waste?
Maybe he realizes college is his last stop, and he wants to spend his last playing years actually playing instead of standing on the sidelines. I fail to see how that speaks negatively on him.

He was the 137th ranked QB in that recruiting class. I don’t know how he ended up at Oklahoma to begin with.

Degree from OU. On the football team. Networking with OU alums is greater than degree from ULM and networking with alum from Monroe.
That’s my mind set and would be that of my son if he were in a similar position.

From the perspective of a parent, I get it. But I also personally get it from the perspective of a highly competitive college athlete. This dude doesn’t want his last years to be riding the pine.
