I wonder if his mental demons are a factor.

Probably more likely due to his size which has led to an injury history and he can’t help on special teams.

This is what you do with small pass catching running backs. Keep them around for a couple of years on cheap salaries and then trade them in for a newer cheaper model

Has he played at all this season? I know he was dealing with PTSD from when he was robbed and defended himself back in college.

He has not, he has been on IR for dealing with the PTSD, like you mentioned. Idk if he plans to retire or maybe Burrow and Chase will convince him to come to Cincinnati?

I remember after one of the games in 2019 he was hugging his father or something, next to the tunnel and some lady (probably a rich booster) kept pecking him on the arm, "Hey number 22....number 22" it was absurd to watch.

I think he will. Good news is if he hangs it up today, he will have won a ring at every level of football. High School, College, and Pro(2x).

Five seasons is a long career for an NFL running back...

Killing a guy, even justifiably, can frick with you. I’ve been either in the Corps or in LE for 31 years, trust me I’ve seen it mess guys up who were in the business. A civilian doing it in a split second when it becomes the worst moment in your life is scary and it’s not like the movies it’s messy.

The Bengals, being around his boys might help and Joe trusts him so maybe that would be a good place for him.

I hope his mental health is ok, but the dude just isn't an NFL RB. He was a one hit wonder on stacked college team.

If Clyde ever needed blood, I'd gladly give him some of mine.

People have been floating the bengals around for years, if they had any interest it would have happened by now
