Both are full of ego. Both made crazy claims before the draft

Who cares. Both are blowhards, Deion has actually accomplished real sport things in his life. His son has been riding his coat tails so far.

By all accounts the Ball boys are pretty humble people. The dad is just a moron.

Prime has accomplished more in life than Lavar could have ever dreamed about, yet from the perspective of handling their athlete sons, they’re basically identically insufferable.

It isn’t about the dads, it’s about the kids. The Ball kids for the most part just went about their business, kept a low profile and let their idiot dad be the lightening rod.

Shedeur participated in his dad’s crazy. That’s the difference.

Deion of the 2020s replaced Lavar of the 2010s as the obnoxious father of a talented athlete. You hope that type of attitude goes unnoticed but it attracts attention, then it gets plenty more attention.

While Ball was somewhat obnoxious about hyping his kids up and selling their brand, he never positioned himself as the arbiter of what team would be allowed to acquire them. He understood they had to be drafted first before dictating terms.

That’s also because Deion raised him like that. Like you said Deion was a legendary player and so of course his son probably wants to be like his dad. Handle life like he sees his dad doing so. Now of course he’s an adult and deserves blame too, but Deion started all this shite

Bronny wasn’t overrated. Everyone knew he sucked. His dad just shoehorned him on the team he’s currently playing for.
