Well college sports is not really college anymore. It has long been something of a minor league but it definitely is now

Lots of these views are started before college at this point. Through social media and friend groups.
Lots of these kids view everything through the lens of race and oppressor/oppressed.
Lots more like to jump on trendy things they see their friends doing or things that make them feel better...

The show writers didn’t give a frick at that point and threw some shite against the wall. You could see some cracks post season 4 (though it was still overall really good) but they went full blown dumbing down most characters and rushing through the story the last 2 seasons. Remember they admitted HBO...
