99% of people say Bengals.

Anyone from Cincinnatti or northern Kentucky pronounce it Bangles, they are weird with their a sounds. Instead of saying bagels the way most people pronounce (bay-gls) it they pronounce it bae-gl.

I don't know why I listen to these idiots, but Florio makes fun of Simms for this.

I say it like Mr. Bingle. Before Burrow made them good they were the Bungals. A similar conversation is if you say Jagwars, Jagwires or Jag-U-Ares.

I say Bang-gulls

I've heard others pronounce it Bing-gulls.

I have no clue which is correct.

Same as you. It sounds like the way we say it is wrong according to OP.

All I know is I’d rather watch Susanna Hoff’s live cover of “Feel like making love” on infinite loop than worry about how folks pronounce the Bengals

That Bangles pic...

The one directly to Hoffs left looks like an older and portlier Christina Applegate and the one next to her looks like Kate McKinnon.

1. Ya, didn’t even spell the city right.
2. You could not be more wrong.

The cheerleaders are actually named the Ben-gals…puts an end to this discussion in the tri-state area.

Off-topic…they hit the striping of the stadium. Colleges do it well…haven’t seen a pro team do it so well.
