There’s no way it gets more views than Paul Finebaum on a Tuesday afternoon in April

There’s nothing else on tonight so it will get viewers simply by being on the main ESPN channel.

They will absolutely not release them because it's ESPN. And if they did they would blame us sexist white men for not watching.

Whole different level . There are some great female college basketball players who can’t get a job selling insurance and have to fall back on getting drafted

99% of tvs on espn during the WNBA draft were just left on from previous shows

Probably more than you expect.
I cycled the tv and choices for sports was basically either college baseball, g league playoff, or Wnba.
Mlb is so terrible in trying to get viewership. Has to open up a different streaming app just to watch something.

Last year with Clark it averages 2.45 million viewers
LINK
In 2023 (pre Clark): 572k.
I’ll guess it’s right around 1.2 million. Slight bump from 2023 but no where near Clark’s draft last year

no, because it would easily expose the false narrative that Angel Reese is trying to argue that she deserves to earn the same amount of money as LeBron James.
Caitlin Clark is the draw when it comes to women's basketball. PERIOD.
there is no "women's basketball boom".... it doesn't exist. it's all fake and created propaganda.
Caitlin Clark is the cash cow.

Yesterday on NBC and Fox, there was bowling, figure skating, MLS soccer and IndyCar racing.
I did watch IndyCar, but I sure ain't watching WNBA anything.

They will release them if they were good - like they have done in the past.

Probably the same at those "women's sports only" bars that are "sweeping the nation".

It was so poorly marketed. I dont really watch the WNBA, same way I dont really watch the NBA....meh pro sports, but because I follow sports I see reactions and stuff from draft days. All the WNBA talking heads I saw were so disappointed with the lack of marketing. I dont think a lot of people knew it was even on.
On the flipside, the 3v3 league apparently has blown away the WNBA in terms of visibility, and maybe even profitability. So alot of the WNBA people were upset that the template was there but it didnt feel like any effort was put in
