Doesn’t get culture of college baseball.
No chemistry with Big Ben

the only announcer I couldn't stand as much as him was Harold Reynolds. And Eduardo is worse.

He talks waaaaaay too much. I”m surprised they didn’t tell them this years ago, and if they have, they should can his arse.

Nepo, not DEI. Tony Perez is his father.

I really don’t get how he continues to be employed. He wasn’t good on Sunday night baseball, he’s even worse at college baseball

If his dad wasn’t who he was, Eduardo would be a travel ball coach in Miami.

He sucks as a broadcaster. That is without question.

But this is a pretty dumb statement. He's still a former major leaguer and he's the guy that inadvertently launched Marrucci.

Having said all this, Ben is great. Just a joy to listen to. Combines technical tidbits with good ol' Southern boy charm.

Doesnt talk about LSU enough for my liking. I feel like the premere program in all of college baseball deserves a talking spot during the games. We single handadly kept the college game aflote for years. We deserve some more respect from him!

There is no reason for Karl Ravech and Eduardo Perez to be on the College World Series. Ravech is terrible at play by play in any sport, and Eduardo knows less than most former baseball players.

Put Mike Monaco with Peterson and Ben, let them do two games every day, and call it a day.

Agreed. No business calling college baseball if you’re not a regular voice of college baseball during the regular season

At least Ravich is a good announcer. Perez is not.

It's the definition of DEI.

He fills a quota based off of his race and ethnicity. He is terrible at his job and has always been terrible at his job while there are other candidates, especially white candidates, that are vastly less annoying and are superior at this specific job.

His Father being a HOF doens't have anything to do with whether this is DEI or not.

Same thing with Jessica Mendoza calling MLB games.

I do too. Enjoy him talking to the players live before games. He was cracking me up last week when they were talking about the 3rd base coach that was in the field of play with a runner coming in to 3B. The other guy was in the radio was wanting to move on and discuss something else and Harold was getting loud like, wait a minute, that’s not right! Harold knows baseball and I appreciate his insight.
