Last night I won a 10-Game parlay bet for the NBA, a $2 bet that paid out $1,200. About 5 minutes after the bet won, I got kicked out of my account with a message saying "You've excluded yourself from your account" and now I can't get back in. Pretty damn sketchy if you ask me. I reached out to their customer service and they said they couldn't help me and someone from their Account Management team would be reaching out to me. It's a day later and I'm still locked out and have yet to be contacted.

Has anyone heard of this happening before?

Did you set any maximum spending limits or anything like that?

I’d keep your head on a swivel. FanDuel goons are gonna come brass knuckle your arse for giving em the business on a parlay.

No I didn't set any limits. The only thing I could possibly think of was Tax purposes too, but still just completely in the dark with no response from FanDuel

I'd go read every word of the entire user agreement you accepted. Your answer is probably in there.

Did you bet the other side of something on that parlay? Apparently they can consider that “shady behavior”

No, I didn't do that either.

Looks like this happens fairly commonly? From a Google search I found this comment
quote:

We are required to file a Form W-2G with the IRS for all wagers that exceed a 300-1 payout, while also being over $600

If you're having trouble managing the amount that you play on FanDuel, you can apply a 'Self-Exclusion' to your account. This feature allows you to select a period of time (3, 6, 9, or 12 months) during which your account will be disabled and you will be barred from entering contests.

Sounds like you accidentally opted in to being locked out somehow

This is the message I just received from them:

“There has been a routine check on your account in accordance with state regulations and guidelines. Your account is under review and someone from the Accounts team will be reaching out within 72 hours. You will either be informed on results of the check with instructions on next steps or you will be reactivated with no notice”

Probably by going 10-for-10 in choosing the right team or over/under

Caesars warned me once for shenanigans with my log-in -- they were either suspicious my work computer was blocking the geolocator or that I made some bets from northern Michigan when I was up there. But, the fact that Fanduel is doing this after you hit a parlay is sketchy.

Anyway that you can get someone on the phone? Might be resolved quicker than relying on email/chat bots.

I temporarily self excluded years ago from daily fantasy and they won’t reinstate me for sports betting, bunch of losers. FanDuel sucks
