1st and goal. Mahomes flings it...it's there! Hardman! Jackpot Kansas City!

And then Romo goes straight into breaking down the play. Shut the frick up and let the moment play out Tony. Nothing from Nantz about the Chiefs have won the super bowl or going back to back. Man said jackpot Kansas City. Not an iconic call.

Romo has no clue how to let a game breath. He thinks he has to talk every single second.

He was actually less annoying tonight than he has been but he still has a long long way to go as a broadcaster.

They were leaning into Vegas themed crap all night, so it seems fitting.

Them telling each other I Love You was also out of place.

Romo has gone from potential color commentator GOAT to one of the worst in the business. It is crazy

lol i was watching nickelodeon, they did a better job.

you're right tho. Romo has to realize noone gives a shite about the breakdown there. break it down on the replay.

terrible all around.

Man doesn’t take a breath himself much less letting the game breathe. Just doesn’t stop

He's clearly just playing golf 5 days a week and probably crams for about 5 hours the day before the game and just thinks he can wing it on a national broadcast.

he is always in breakdown mode and 2nd guess mode.

he should save his breakdowns for replays.

it's like hes stuck in trying to say what is gonna happen a half second before it happens

It was the same play that scored them two TDs in last years Super Bowl. Good for Romo to pick that up.

Romo had some stretches where he just wouldn’t shut up.

The entire play was a bit anticlimactic.

A) it was first down.
B) he was wide arse open
C) Romo talking basically immediately
D) going immediately to Swift (and I’ve complained about Swift exactly 0 times)

I assume he was just as surprised as everyone else that the 9ers left that guy wide open.

Romo actually did a pretty great job breaking that down. Everyone on the 9ers D thought that ball was going to Kelce. Both the guys bit on him and completely left 12 open in the flat.

He's always been way overrated and a complete bore to listen to. I don't even watch with the TV audio anymore. I always mute the TV feed, and play the Westwood One feed on my phone. Harlan's play by play is worlds better than anyone else on TV. And Warner is an excellent analyst. And their pre and postgame, and halftime show has always been top notch.

Thank goodness Nantz isn't working the NCAA Tournament anymore. Ian Eagle easily trumps him.

I do t like this term. It’s not like they purposely left him open. It was a fantastic Goal Line route concept against man coverage. There’s little to nothing the 49ers could do to stop that play. See last year vs. the Eagles

Whole thing was weird. It's like no one expected KC to try to score there right away.

Felt like they held off for awhile and then the floodgates opened in the 4th and OT. They even showed her when chiefs were on defense in the 4th.

Nantz and Romo are fine, they don't bother me, but they are NOT Super Bowl announcers. They just aren't.
