Former Alabama and LSU football coach Nick Saban is on pace to become a billionaire, and it's in large part thanks to a Baton Rouge car dealership owner. Joe Agresti runs Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge with Saban, thanks to a four-hour meeting initiated by Saban, Forbes reports.
One day, Agresti received a call at his office and thought he was being pranked when he heard a voice message from the legendary college football coach. Since beginning their partnership, their Dream Motor Group sells 20,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles a year and a couple hundred Infinitis and Ferraris across nine dealerships in Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas and Florida, according to Forbes. The duo also bought two Miami-area stores in a $730 million deal in 2023, where annual revenues now near $2 billion.
"It's one of the best decisions I ever made," Saban said. "It's been really good for both of us."

Agresti is now worth $1.1 billion.
"Coach and I get deals left and right because of our connections," Agresti said. "Right now, we're at our all-time biggest - all our chips are on the table."

Good for Nick. Hope he can make ends meet in this challenging economy

So money is leaving BR and will probably go to Bama NIL?

Why should I celebrate another billionaire when grocery prices are still increasing?

Hey Nick, we need some NIL money. Afterall, you made your name at LSU right? Also, would like to be our Athletic Director?

Mrs. Agresti making sure the finances in order before filing for divorce?

Lol if you think Saban is giving one penny to Bama's NIL fund now that he is gone. He does not really give a shite.

Ever since Sabin went to Alabama, he is complete tiger bait. Thread is not Tiger football worthy

Do you feel that way about Les Miles since he coached Kansas after us? Or what about Paul Dietzel since he coached at Army and South Carolina after LSU? Would you feel that way about Coach O if he coaches somewhere else in the future?
Get over yourself, baw. I understand why you feel the way you do about Saban but every LSU fan has to realize and acknowledge that Saban did more for LSU football than any other coach in university history. Like it or not, he's an LSU legend.

Another reason I stay away from Mercedes Products.

I heard Saban went with Mercedes-Benz because Riverside Towing turned him down for being too slimy.

Perfect example of this was Sunday where you had an Ed O thread followed by a Will Wade thread 2 minutes later on the Rant. The cry babies complained so much the Wade thread was removed in about 10 minutes. The Orgeron thread is still there. LSU fans are mostly hypocrites.

I think Will Wade's firing was a massive mistake by LSU but I'm enough of an adult to understand Woodward was in a tough position with a different college athletics world at that time. I thought it was the right thing to do at the time but today's NIL environment sure has made that firing sting more than a cow ant on my dick.

Anybody that gives that impotent midget POS a dime doesn’t deserve to wear P&G.
