The Famous Toastery Bowl is set to kickoff today at 1:30 CT between the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and Monarchs of Old Dominion
Old Dominion forged its way into a bowl by winning its last two games over Georgia Southern and Georgia State on the final play of each game and looks to close the season with a win against its former Conference USA foe. Western Kentucky aims to improve on its bowl record. In the previous 11 seasons, the Hilltoppers went to nine bowl games and finished 6-3.
The Key Matchup is between the Western Kentucky unknown QB situation vs. Old Dominion defense: Austin Reed threw for 3,340 yards and 31 touchdowns for Western Kentucky, but his status for the game remains unclear as he may opt out of the game. If he doesn’t play, then Turner Helton will get the start. Helton doesn’t have much experience, going 8 of 8 for 82 yards passing this season.
Old Dominion is favroed by 4.5 points and the O/U is set at 48.5
Happy Monday Afternoon!

Bowls with no fans
What the hell is the point
ESPN would do better showing cornhole right now

How does the at game attendance, effect the viewership?
A blowout will effect viewership worse.

This was years ago now, but I remember an old Chicago Tribune article that said the International Bowl between UConn and Buffalo had higher ratings for ESPN than all but 4 or 5 college basketball games on their networks.
Americans love football. People will watch and/or gamble regardless of who is playing.

That was some pretty weak ball security there. That's ballgame.

I'm no rules expert but ain't that ODU ball? The WKU player touched it after it was blocked. I don't know the rule. I just remember the Leon Lett incident.

WKU blocks the field goal and just hit a deep pass.
