Wilson
66.4%—3, 070 passing yards—341 rushing yards—26 passing tds—3 rushing tds —8 ints—98 passer rating
Lamar
66.3%—3357 passing yards—786 rushing yards—19 passing tds—5 rushing tds—7ints—97.2 passer rating
Shows you how someone like Biden can win president with the power of the media. One of the QBs above is being narrated as the worse signing ever maybe and the other is being touted as the mvp favorite

The ravens are going to lose in the playoffs again like they always do as well.

I doubt Payton would want Lamar either.

Success Rate
Lamar-7th
Russell Wilson- 20th (Behind Desmond Ridder and barely above Sam Howell and Mac Jones)
And oh by the way, the Ravens have played the third toughest schedule in the NFL this season. The Denver Broncos? They have the 19th hardest schedule in the NFL.

The media I’ve seen has been pretty critical of the broncos for benching him while they’re still mathematically alive and he’s having a statistically good season.
It’s been pretty unanimous.

Yes that was my immediate conclusion from viewing these stats as well

Did you miss the part about playing the third toughest schedule in the NFL? Three of the guys ahead of him, Tua, Dak, and Jared Goff have played three of the easiest schedules in the NFL. Josh Allen has also played a significantly easier schedule this season.

QBs only face the other teams defense
Lamar will have faced the following after Sunday
31st ranked defense-twice
29th ranked defense
27th ranked defense
26th ranked defense
25th ranked defense
22nd ranked defense
21st ranked defense
19th ranked defense
18th ranked defense
17th ranked defense
15th ranked defense
11th ranked defense
1st ranked defense-twice
I believe the ravens have faced the 3rd easiest schedule relative to opponents defense this season.
So, as you were saying, Lamar only has the 7th best success rates against one of the easiest schedules based on defenses faced

Man, we got it, you don’t think Lamar should win MVP. You don’t have to give us a daily stats breakdown on the matter.

Wilson has one 300 yard passing game this year and that is in a loss when Miami hung 70 points on them.
Wilson is a game manager. And they are paying him super elite money. That is the problem.

Payton is being really impatient imo, Russ hasn’t been great but he hasn’t been awful either. He’s not really the problem, but Payton is treating him as the scapegoat
If the Chiefs lose they’re still very much alive to win the division, I don’t get why Payton is basically tanking

It's pretty clear that Payton wants to move on from Russ in 2024, hence the benching now to prevent injury guarantees kicking in. While he is probably the best chance to win now this ain't about 2023 anymore

Right.
Russell is an asset they are looking to divest. They have to protect the asset.
Side question:
WTF is success rate? I haven't seen that metric for some reason

I think it’s about more than just his play, which hasn’t been very good. He doesn’t seem to be very well liked in the locker room.

Stidham played good with the Raiders last year. He should beat the Chargers
