Softball - Move the fences back

Texas v OU.

- Watched a girl get a ball mid-barrel, out in front, off balance, opposite field, home run. That's ridiculous. Not a good swing. Not a good read on the pitch. That should be an easy fly ball out. But it's a home run.

- NCAA has to move the fences back in softball. Every year I see some awful at-bats generate home runs.

- I've only seen swings like that generate home runs from Hall of Fame type hitters. Once saw Frank Thomas get fooled on a change up. Off the front foot, hits a blast straight center field, home run. But in college softball it's a weekly occurrence.

- Women's softball is pretty good sport, but watching crappy ABs turn into home runs has gotten old.

By the way, Texas managed to lose this game in the bottom of the 7th.
