Spinoff thread: Rank All Major Sports Trophies

1. Stanley Cup- I think this is pretty universal. The players love it, the fans love it. You can drink beer out of it. It looks pretty bad arse when someone raises it over their head.
2. World Cup- It scores bonus points for the exclusivity of it. Only a select few players and Salt Bae get to hold it. The design has grown on me as I've gotten accustomed to it. Being gold is cool, too
3. Lombardi Trophy- Clean, iconic. Who else can't picture this in their head without Brady holding it?
4. World Series Trophy- Kinda looks like some shite you'd throw rings at to win a stuffed animal
5. Larry O'Brien Trophy- I never liked this one growing up. The redesign/cleanup is better. I would actually rank this above the WS trophy, but I'm too lazy to reformat the list now.
6. Civil COnFLict Trophy- Probably the most hallowed trophy in all of college sports. Ask any kid going into college what they want to hoist in the air at some point in their career. Heisman? Nah. CFP Trophy? Meh. It's the Civil COnFLict trophy.

The World Cup trophy is 75% solid gold. It's a work of art. You can have your beer mug trophies.

It’s like the Texas Longhorns all white unis. They’ve worn them for a long time, but starting circa 2015 they became “clean” and “fresh”. I feel like it’s broadcaster Mark Jones trying to be black instead of just…being black.
